The Centre for Customs and Excise Studies at the Charles Sturt University, Australia (CCES) is a world leader in customs and excise training, border security, education, consulting and research. CCES manages the International Network of Customs Universities (INCU) and publishes the World Customs Journal www.worldcustomsjournal.org, the international journal dedicated to customs matters that is fully endorsed by the World Customs Organization.
The Centre is the first of its kind in the world. It is an autonomous body within the University of Canberra delivering education programs, training, consulting services, advisory services and research capabilities for customs and excise administrations, related government agencies and the international trading community.
It has established a global reputation for strengthening the organisational capability of customs and other border enforcement agencies throughout the world.
