Prof. Wolffgang gives presentation on customs conflicts with the USA at Tax & Legal Excellence, Düsseldorf
On 12th November 2019 the event "Tax & Legal Excellence" has been held at Industrie-Club Düsseldorf. The head subject of the event was "US market - consequences of US trade politics". Prof. Wolffgang gave a presentation under the headline "Customs Conflicts with the USA".
In the presentation, he addressed the already existing and still to be expected tariffs between the USA, China and the EU. In this context the renaissance of trade policy with tariffs was discussed. Furthermore the disturbances of the multilateral economic order were pointed out and the increase of bilateral and regional free trade agreements and free trade zones was highlighted.
